I won a new bike this morning, a Mongoose Crossway 225. Not bad for turning up for a free breakfast.

The bike is best described as a leisure bike, similar to the one I bought last year. It'll be a good spare in case I have a flat tyre, or someone hits me.

Wrong mayor.

Update: I missed the reference to the naked cyclists protesting against car fumes. Nothing to do with the mayor at all.

Some of the cyclists would have looked good naked.

Good for you, nice looking bike.

But I'm 45 years old and haven't biked since I was 15. What in God's name is a "snakestay"? It worries me.

I think it must be the shape of part of the frame, but googling hasn't told me exactly what. It's okay, I don't have to worry about snakes, I'm on a mongoose.

This is the ephemeral marks left after traversing the web and life.

This isn't me, it's bits of me... the bits I'm willing to share; nothing more, nothing less (see above for details).
