It was a wet miserable day in Auckland today. Little Bear was pleased, she didn't have to go on a work picnic and have to entertain 40 little kids.

I had a nice lie in in the morning, before getting up and giving Jack a late injection. A couple of hours of either reading or watching the final of Amish in the City, only eighteen months after it showed in the US.

My friend Helen is in town for a week or so, working as a nanny. She called and arranged for me to meet her and Shelley at St Lukes mall for a coffee. She had a couple of the kids in tow. It was good to catch up, and to be in a better frame of mind after the last time I saw her.

The evening was spent watching the latest episodes of Smallville, Desperate Housewives, and The Amazing Race.

The wind is still blowing hard, with rain coming down in showers. It feels that winter is on the way, but this is still autumn.

This is the ephemeral marks left after traversing the web and life.

This isn't me, it's bits of me... the bits I'm willing to share; nothing more, nothing less (see above for details).
