I stumbled across The Nerd Handbook on Friday. The author is one of the speakers of Webstock '08.
I passed it on to the Petenic. He said it explained a lot. I did too. I read further and discovered that I have NADD and that when I have the laptop on the couch I'm in The Place but not in The Zone. To be in The Zone I need to be in The Cave.
