I'm still alive and well. Jack is good too. The vet says he's a healthy cat which is good to hear about a thirteen-and-a-half year old cat.
I need to sort out a dispute over unpaid rent and bills from my former flatmate who has moved to Australia with no forwarding address. Details will follow when I know what my options are. She has an unusual surname, so at a last resort I can write the details up here and know that it will be prominently displayed by Google is someone ever looks online for her, especially a prospective employer. I'm still trying to speak to her and at this stage I'm checking with the Citizens Advice Bureau about what is necessary to take her to court.

Darn Brian... it's funny how everything comes at once. I'm going through a really blah time right now myself. I don't actually know why. I guess that makes no sense.

I'm glad the kitty's ok. Nothing worse than having an ill loved one. Hope things get sorted out with the ex-flatmate. Too bad she can't be the responsible sort and take care of her leftover messes. People like that make me appreciate my pet so much.
