My mom used to make this once a week for a treat and i lost the recipe years ago, this is pretty much the same thanks for posting it. it was sooooo devine i find whipped cream and vanilla ice cream goes best

What temperature do you cook this at?
A moderate oven is 175°-190° Celsius (350°-375° Fahrenheit)

It will be cooked when The sponge part will be firm to the touch, and the sauce bubbling. A skewer can be inserted cleanly with no doughy mixture sticking to it. (Be aware that sauce from the bottom may stick to the skewer.)

if i put this pudding into small cermatic moulds can i tip them up side down and the sauce will fall on top?
It may work, but it will be easier to serve the individual puddings in the ceramic moulds, especially of there is room for a scoop of ice cream. The pudding has an attractive crust on the top that you will lose by turning them upside down.
