It&#8217;s the start of a prequel trilogy to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/external-search?tag=shadowfoot-20&amp;keyword=zelazny%20roger%20amber&amp;mode=blended\">Amber chronicles<\/a> by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/external-search?tag=shadowfoot-20&amp;keyword=zelazny%20roger&amp;mode=blended\">Roger Zelazny<\/a>. These are very hard to get hold of. As a fan I wish these would all get collected in a single edition and made available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prolog to Trumps of Doom (1985)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Salesman&#8217;s Tale (1994)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blue Horse, Dancing Mountains (1995)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Shroudling and the Guisel(1994)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coming to a Cord (1995)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hall of Mirrors (1996)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A collection of trumps, as interpreted by fans, is <a href=\"http:\/\/zelazny.corrupt.net\/trumps.php\">available<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/piazza.iae.nl\/users\/astrid\/doriandiaries.html\">The Dorian Diaries<\/a> by Jan Pieter de Graaf are very good too. They are set in The <a href=\"http:\/\/piazza.iae.nl\/users\/astrid\/amberindex.html\">Black Unicorn Campaign<\/a> By Astrid Tops. I used to run an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wordiq.com\/definition\/Amber_Diceless_Roleplaying_Game\">Amber Diceless Roleplaying<\/a> campaign too. With all the plotting and scheming the players were doing I didn&#8217;t have to do much for us all to have fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I started out by saying I had finished the first book of the prequel. I am looking forward to reading the second, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0743493176\/shadowfoot-20\">Chaos and Amber<\/a>.
