Friday is my day off, giving me a long weekend.
I picked up my replacement briefcase, returned the crutches to the hospital (I’m still limping a bit), and forgot to look at new bicycle options.
I did some grocery shopping and got some more gingerbread ice cream. It is a limited edition, so perhaps I’ve got to eat so much of it that I no longer like it before they withdraw it from the market. I ran into a friend whom I haven’t seen for months. She and her other half have moved house and will soon be having a housewarming. (Am I allowed to say her boyfriend’s hot, given my lack of identifying them?)
I wished David an enjoyable vacation. Starting tomorrow, he and his boyfriend are off to San Francisco, Chicago, and Las Vegas for the next two weeks.
I’m enjoying a bottle of Brown Bothers 2002 Everton Cabernet Sauvignon Malbec, which I opened with dinner. It was on sale at the supermarket, which saved me from opening any in my cellar.
I watched Jake 2.0 while I ate my fettucini dinner. Christopher (Jake Foley) Gorham doesn’t do anything for me, nor does Philip Anthony (Kyle Duarte) Rodriguez, yet both have their charms.
Who created a show called Las Vegas? Google has 12.7 million references to that. The second episode was on tonight. Josh (Danny) Duhamel is hot, even without dark facial hair, and I wouldn’t say no to Mike. For you straight guys (all three of you), oh, and you J, the women are beautiful too.
Free-to-air television in New Zealand is good. It shows the better of the shows from the US and UK, including premium channels. The new season of Six Feet Under starts soon. It’s a good thing I have a couple of VCRs, just in case I get a date on the night things are on. (Any offers?)
