Ingredients
- 4 oz Butter
- 4 oz Sugar
- ½ lb Flour
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 tablespoon Golden Syrup
- 1 tablespoon Milk
- ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
Tip: I tell the scales to measure in imperial units for this.
Method
- Melt butter, sugar, golden syrup, milk, and baking soda in a saucepan.
- Stir in flour and vanilla.
- Roll into small balls and press with a fork.
- Place on a baking tray with plenty of room for these to spread.
- Bake for 10 minutes in a preheated moderate oven (350°F/175°C).
